Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Server/Bartender to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and creating a memorable experience for our guests. The ideal candidate will have excellent hospitality skills, be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and have a strong knowledge of Japanese food.

Duties:
- Greet customers and take orders
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and customer preferences (for bartending)
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including restocking supplies and cleaning glasses (for bartending)
- Handle cash transactions accurately and takes accountability for any inaccuracies
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, answering questions, and making recommendations
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to coordinate food and beverage orders
- Monitor alcohol consumption and prevent over-intoxication
- Upsell additional items or promotions to increase revenue

Experience:
- Previous experience working in a restaurant or bar setting
- Strong knowledge of mixology and drink recipes, a plus for strong knowledge of Japanese cuisine
- Familiarity with cash register operations and retail math
- Proficient in using TOAST POS or similar point-of-sale systems
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations calmly
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 35 per week
